Often, when the examination result was announced, you were disappointed that your achievement did not meet your expectation. You were puzzled as you thought you have done the best to answer the questions in the exam hall. Nobody will tell you the reason and the query will leave you with no answer.

This article tells you ‘How the Examiner Marks Your Answer Script’. Sample from the student answer sheets in the exam is used to show how the examiner gives the marks for the points raised, based on the Answer Schemes which normally set by the university.

He is a former lecturer of Managerial Economics for MBA at Putra Business School, Malaysia. Prior to that, he serves 33 years of working experience in various senior positions with the Government of Malaysia before joined the corporate sector.

Holds a Doctorate in Economics and Masters in Development Economics, both from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom.
